PEACE OF MIND
BBBS take away the responsibility of having to: service your own equipment, order consumables, training and organising employees (who are fully trained and qualified in their respective fields), to developing systems to suit your particular application, releasing your own staff for more important tasks.
For example, many existing ductwork systems have insufficient access points to enable efficient cleaning. HPS can install doors at strategic points throughout the system to enable regular inspection, cleaning, and disinfection to be undertaken simply.
BBBS clean and inspect all confined or difficult access items, from 2mm tube to 300m towers. All contracts, whether £250 or £1.8M are executed as swiftly and efficiently as practical, by a trained, trustworthy, conscientious, clean and discreet workforce. We are sure that you appreciate that the applications vary greatly; therefore an independent price will be given.
BBBS have available for use the latest cleaning and inspection systems currently available on the market, and as such can offer a tailor made service by using the right system for your particular application.
HPS can provide regular professional treatment to enable all walls, ceilings, floors, catering equipment, and extraction systems to comply with current Food Act and Health and Safety Legislation.
Through the innovative methods devised at BBBS we are able to offer many advantages to our customers.
We deliver cleaning standards that lead to maximum effect and efficiency and surpass expectations. By challenging the old industrial cleaning methods we guarantee to do it faster and keep client costs down every time.

INDUSTRIAL CLEANING & INSPECTION SERVICE
BBBS believe that industrial cleaning and inspection technology go hand in hand and therefore provide a first rate, fully comprehensive service.
System Cleaning
Failure to adequately maintain and clean your premises, grease extract systems, ventilation and or drainage systems, could lead to failure of your business. Insurance companies have specific warranties relating to buildings insurance policies where these problems are present and apparent, due to the risks. If the ventilation, extract or drainage systems are not maintained in compliance with the current applicable regulations, then in the event of an associated problems, insurers may refuse to pay a claim. One business is £100,000 out of pocket due to this failure.
Kitchen Environments
Hygiene treatment in commercial kitchens falls into three main categories: Extraction Systems, Catering Equipment and Main Structure.
All areas if not regularly, professionally, cleaned and maintained can quickly become a health and or a fire risk. Bacteria developing in grease deposits create a hazard to health. Business efficiency and profitability are also bound to suffer. Neglect of grease extractors results in the accumulation of fats, oily and fibrous deposits and air borne particles in the system, the major cause of the spread of disease and fire in catering establishments. The warm greasy environment is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria and cockroaches.
Detailed visual inspections can be undertaken to a pre-determined selection or area of plant, premises or ancillaries (i.e. dampers, heat exchangers, office buildings etc.) Photographic records will be taken of any faults or problem located and attached to subsequent reports.
Swab samples or contact plates for independent laboratory analysis can be taken to determine Total Viable Counts of fungi and or micro-bacteria.
All walls, ceilings, floors, catering equipment and extraction systems require regular professional treatment to comply with the current 'Food Act' as well as 'Health & Safety Legislation'. Deep fat fryers should be inspected and cleaned every three months to avoid a build-up of carbon; costly and difficult to remove. All ovens, food preparation tables, steamers and the like should also be treated regularly.
The guidelines for microbial monitoring using TM26 protocol can be followed which gives industry recognised benchmarks to compare results against.
|
THE BENEFIT OF VISUAL INSPECTION
Complex machinery, enclosed spaces, hazardous substances, and hostile environments result in a proliferation of inaccessible areas, all in need of thorough inspection and or cleaning.
Stringent safety standards, maintenance procedures, research, and quality assurance emphasise the need to inspect these concealed areas irrespective of difficulty or practicality.
With this in mind we can supply on-site, computer validated reports to UK/EU standards. All surveys are recorded on the highest quality video/data cassettes or discs and or stills. With this integrated approach, we can supply instant monochrome or colour prints at any point during the survey.
BBBS can inspect applications before (where possible) and after cleaning, and a hard copy will be provided for visual reference using:
-
Written reports
-
CCTV Flexi-Probes
-
Pipe/Crawler Cameras
-
Endoscopes
-
Borescopes and Mini-Borescopes ranging from 1.8mm up.

SAFETY
BBBS are sure that you appreciate that safety is of the utmost importance in our interests as a company, not only for our employees, but also for our customers. All areas are coned off during work in progress if at all possible, and all appropriate protective clothing and equipment is supplied by HPS.
Operations are supported and validated by up to the minute method statements and constant risk assessment.
BBBS operatives are fully trained in Health and Safety, and regularly attend courses to ensure that their training is up to date.
Hygiene; You're responsibility!
Businesses, small or large, public authorities and their managers have a legal duty under the ‘Health & Safety At Work etc Act 1974’, ‘The Management of Health & Safety At Work Regulation 1999’ and ‘The Workplace (Health & Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1992’, to have a suitable system of maintenance for their mechanical ventilation supply and waste systems. They should be regularly and properly cleaned, tested and maintained to ensure that they are kept free from anything that may contaminate users, general employees and the public at large.
What is even more of a concern is the very real threat to building managers, of prosecution, should ducts not comply with the regulations of the Health and Safety Commission, which state that ventilations systems should be cleaned 'as appropriate and subject to 'a suitable' system of maintenance.
BBBS maintains an environmentally friendly awareness.

FAQ's about rope access over other methods
Do you need a permit for Scaffolding?
It is an offence to erect scaffolding on the highway (footway or carriageway) without obtaining a scaffolding permit in advance from the Council. There are specific rules and regulations applicable to the placing of items upon the highway, all of which are designed to ensure both public and user safety. There is an administration fee for the issue of these permits.
Do you need a permit for Rope Access?
No permit is needed for height access by Ropes. Due to the fact unlike scaffolding all high level rope access equipment can be taken away when not in use or after a days work. NO PERMIT NO FEE
Setting up time for Scaffolding?
Where it is envisaged that obstruction of the highway may occur, additional application may be required for implementation of a temporary road closure. Such applications should be made a minimum of 6 weeks prior to commencement of the works. All costs associated with such closures are required to be paid by the applicant. And only after the applications for scaffolding have been accepted may the slow costly job of erecting unsightly high level scaffolding begin.
Setting up time for Rope Access?
There is no need to plan for weeks ahead and fill in endless application forms for rope access unlike scaffolding, rope access is flexible and can be set up on the day of use and then put away when not in use.
